The newly restyled and upgraded Honda CR-V has just been voted CUV of the year by Motor Trend, one of the automotive industry's most prestigious publications. After a few missteps over the last few years, many publications have been hard on Honda lately, so this is a big victory for the automaker. They applauded the improvements of the new design and aesthetics, but were most enthused by the CR-V's engineering. "This feels like a Honda should, with light steering, great feedback, and competent handling chops. It’s way more fun than any compact crossover ought to be," noted one judge.
