The Dodge Journey is trying to toughen up it's image a little bit. It's rivals are all rugged and outdoorsy, and the Journey wants to play too. To accomplish this, Dodge is launching a new version called the Crossroad, to be introduced at the Chicago Auto Show.
The 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad is actually just a new trim level, that should fit between the SXT and Limited models, distinguishing itself with styling add-ons. It's a little less polished, but it's still a three-row, 7 seat crossover. The Dodge Journey itself is generally more likely to appeal to minivan moms, but this model might attract those with a slightly adventurous sense of self.
